Brooks Rehabilation
On Saturday, March 8, we hosted
Brooks Rehabilitation’s Adaptive Sports program. Eight participants, all but one of which were in wheelchairs, had a
chance to ride a horse. The ranch constructed a custom made wheelchair ramp where volunteers helped the participants transfer
from their chairs to the horse’s back. Ranch
volunteers walking on each side of the horse helped the riders keep their balance as they rode around the corral.
