St. Augustine Garrison
Back in December, the St. Augustine Spanish Garrison came out to the ranch for a day of firing and food. The the
organization responsible for the re-enactmets at the old spanish fort in dowtown St. Augustine, came out for some target practice.
Armed with muskets, cannons and even some tomahawks, practiced war manuevers shooting live ammunition and throwing axes.
They came dressed in period clothes and even set up some encampments, displaying tools and weapons used during old times.
The soldiers took time out in between reloading for any questions bystanders had about what it was like living in the past.
They even showed Mr. Ric how to throw a tomahawk! Afterwards, they came up to the main barn for some bbq ribs and chicken.
